Panda L. Kroll

Panda Kroll is an experienced complex commercial litigator and appellate advocate based in California. She is a member of the State Bars of both California and Florida and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. She has litigated contracts, employment, real estate, unfair competition and false advertising disputes (including Lanham Act claims), frequently obtaining defense verdicts, favorable settlements, and awards of attorneys’ fees for clients after asserting the “litigation privilege” and California’s anti-SLAPP defense. She has decades of experience practicing insurance and public entity defense in personal injury, construction defect, and defamation claims. She has served as Cumis counsel for insurance companies and has been retained by carriers to coordinate the defense of high-stakes commercial claims brought in California, Florida, Tennessee, and Nevada, and to serve as a trial monitor.   

Ms. Kroll began her career as a research attorney for the Appeals Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her appellate practice covers a range of subject matters from complex business claims to constitutional issues.

Ms. Kroll has extensive experience litigating both federal and state law claims. Her trial practice includes defending businesses in commercial cases in both federal and state courts. Her Lanham Act litigation expertise has resulted in favorable settlements and judicial orders for her clients. Her work includes all aspects of pre-trial discovery, including extensive work with both consulting and trial experts. 

Ms. Kroll has served as an adjunct faculty member of California State University, Channel Islands since 2002. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Business Law and graduate courses in Biotechnology Regulation & Ethics. She currently chairs the American Association of Justice's Timeshare Litigation Group and serves on the California Appellate Defense Counsel Board of Directors and on the Jury Instructions Committee of the California Lawyers Association’s Litigation Section.
