Denver G. Edwards
Denver G. Edwards is Managing Partner of the Firm. He investigates corporate actions to recover assets for stakeholders in insolvencies, helps clients navigate Chapter 11 proceedings and distressed situations, and defends companies and individuals accused of securities violations before administrative agencies and in federal courts.
In insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, Mr. Edwards helps members of official committees, indenture trustees, litigation trustees, bondholders, secured and unsecured creditors, suppliers and other parties pursue their interests and protect their assets. He has experience investigating corporate actions and recovering assets, including through clawbacks and third-party claims.
In the area of government investigations, Mr. Edwards represents corporations and individuals to investigate, mitigate, advise and defend alleged violations of securities laws and compliance procedures, and white collar and government investigations initiated by the SEC, DOJ, FINRA, state attorneys general, and other regulatory bodies. Mr. Edwards has experience counseling clients regarding insider trading, accounting fraud, market-wide securities sweeps, sales practice violations, and enforcement matters at national banks. He has led internal investigations and provided compliance recommendations to clients.
Mr. Edwards also helps businesses and high net worth individuals resolve commercial disputes in an array of sectors, including financial services, renewable energy and healthcare.
